What to know about the iPhone 13
- What the Battery Health messages mean
- In Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging, Peak Performance Capability normally says the battery supports normal peak performance. If it says the phone had an unexpected shutdown and performance management was applied, or that the battery is significantly degraded, the battery is the likely cause.
- Make sure it's an iPhone 13, not a 13 mini or Pro
- The 13 mini, 13, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max each take their own battery. Settings > General > About > Model Name shows which one you have. From the back, the iPhone 13 has two cameras and the Pro models have three.
